The Captain’s Ring stands as the flagship piece of the collection — an extraordinarily rare heirloom forged for those drawn to the romance of the sea, the weight of history, and the enduring spirit of command.

Each ring is individually hand forged in my small workshop in the Inland Northwest using traditional methods and period-inspired tools that leave behind the weathered textures, deep character, and old-world finish that define every piece. This is not modern mass production. It is deliberate craftsmanship shaped by fire, hammer, and time.

At the center of every Captain’s Ring rests an authentic Spanish silver coin — either a Half Real, 1 Real, or 2 Reales — carefully selected for its individual character, age, wear, and story. Coin size varies depending on availability, as each ring begins not with a mold, but with the search for the right coin.

No two are ever alike.
No two were ever meant to be.

Each ring is designed around the natural footprint and imperfections of the coin it carries, allowing history itself to dictate the final form of the piece. I often think of the coin as the soul of the ring — worn by centuries, shaped by oceans, trade, conflict, and the hands that carried it long before ours.

The silver used in the casting process includes reclaimed silver sourced from genuine period wreck coins, adding another layer of authenticity and historical depth to the piece. Every Captain’s Ring therefore carries not only history you can see — but history forged directly into the metal itself.

Crafted from solid 14ct gold and .925 sterling silver, the Captain’s Ring is produced in exceptionally limited numbers. Only one Captain’s Ring is forged each month.

That is not a marketing tactic.
It is the natural result of the time, material sourcing, and craftsmanship required to create each piece properly.

These rings are highly sought after by collectors, adventurers, historians, and those who appreciate objects made with patience and intention. The Captain’s Ring was created to feel less like jewelry and more like a recovered artifact — something worthy of being discovered in a sea chest, passed from captain to heir, or carried through a lifetime of adventure.

A ring forged not merely to be worn…
but to be remembered.
