The Privateer's Ring
Please Note
Photos are representative of the design only—each handcrafted ring will feature its own unique character, coin, and finish.
Forged for those who still hear the call of the open sea.
The Privateer’s Ring is a one-of-a-kind heirloom born from fire, silver, gold, and history itself. Each piece is individually hand forged in my small workshop in the Inland Northwest using traditional methods and period-inspired tools to create the weathered textures, worn edges, and salt-aged character that define every ring.
At the heart of each piece rests an authentic Spanish Silver Half Real — a coin once exchanged in ports, taverns, and trade routes that helped shape the early world of exploration, commerce, and conquest. I design every ring around the unique footprint and wear pattern of the coin it carries, allowing the history of the silver to dictate the final form of the piece.
No two are ever alike.
I often think of the coin as the soul of the ring.
Crafted from solid 14ct gold and .925 sterling silver, these rings are made in extremely limited quantities. Only six Privateer’s Rings are forged each month, making every release scarce and highly sought after by collectors, adventurers, and those drawn to old-world craftsmanship.
This is not mass production.
This is slow work. Intentional work.
Every hammer strike, texture, and finish is done by hand.
The result is a ring that feels less like jewelry and more like a recovered artifact from another age — something carried across storms, hidden in a captain’s chest, or handed down from one generation to the next.
Whether worn as a daily companion or kept as a treasured piece in a collection, the Privateer’s Ring was created for those who value history, craftsmanship, and the enduring spirit of adventure.
